Program: Tenor-Arias from known and unknown Operettas by Oscar Strauss, Emmerich Kalman, Franz Lehar and Paul Abraham.

The program comprises 12 Songs (arranged by Leo Eroed and Peter Pecha) with intermezzi (modern transitions to the respective songs composed by Leo Eroed).
Duration without break: 1Hour, 10 minutes
Alternative Possibility: Part 1:  35 minutes,  break: 20-30 minutes, Part 2:  35 minutes.

Program: Viennese Songs from various operettas by Leo Fall, Edmund Eysler, Leo Ascher and Robert Stolz.
These composers wrote their „Viennese Songs“ in high level „Viennese Tradition“  and must not be mixed up with the usual songs at Pubs and Wineries.

In Hollywood hailed a superstar, Werner Richard Heymann started his musical career as Musical Director of the UFA-Orchestra in Berlin which he conducted in the first soundfilm

„Melody of the Heart“. Many fabulous soundfilms followed,  like „Three at the Petrol Station“ with the popular song „A friend, a good friend“ or the film „Lovewaltz“ – all in all 15 UFA soundfilms with his unique music. After his migration to the US, the musical genius composed  filmmusic for 50 films and together with Erich Wolfgang Korngold  finally made it to the Hall of Fame of American film composers.

Virtual Recital : „From Face to Face“ – Musical - Visual Spaces
Cast: Herbert Lippert, Tenor; Eduard Kutrowatz, Piano; Markus Treml, Portrait-Sculptures;  Manfred Corrine, Video-Installations/Light Engineering.
Portrait-Sculptures of Sculptor Markus Treml are contrasted with Art-Songs by Ludwig van Beethoven, Hugo Wolf, Erich W. Korngold, Franz Liszt and Richard Strauss in the form of musical and visual poetry. The selected relevant songs are being interpreted by Herbert Lippert (Tenor) and Eduard Kutrowatz (Piano). For the visual comparison of performing and plastic Art responsible is Manfred Corrine (Video-Installation/Light Engineering.

Biography

Grammy Award Winner and Tenor of the Vienna State Opera, Herbert Lippert, was born in Upper Austria and started his artistic career as soloist with the „Vienna Boys Choir.“ Numerous recordings and international performances at Operas and Concert Halls under conductors Georg Solti, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Franz Welser-Moest and Nikolaus Harnoncourt established him one of the leading Tenors of our time.
Intensive work in the field of Opera and Concert as well as Cooperation in the field of Operettas with his Ensemble („Herbert Lippert and his Philharmonic Friends“) made up of musicians of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra,  explain his close ties with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
